Description

A luxurious Salted Honey Pie that is completely gluten-free, eggless, and dairy-free! This no-bake dessert uses oat milk and gelatin to create a silky, panna cotta-style filling that is perfectly balanced with sweet honey and sea salt.

Ingredients

Scale

1 MI-DEL® Gluten Free Graham Style Pie Crust

2 cups (480ml) Better Than Milk® Organic Oat Drink, divided

1 packet (7g) unflavored gelatin

¼ cup (60ml) honey

¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

1 pinch flaky sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

1. In a small bowl or glass, combine 1 cup of the oat milk with the gelatin. Mix well and set aside to bloom for 5 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine the remaining 1 cup of oat milk, honey, and fine sea salt.

3. Heat over medium heat, stirring consistently, until the honey has melted and is fully incorporated into the mixture. Remove from heat.

4. Add the bloomed gelatin mixture to the warm oat milk in the saucepan. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

5. Allow the mixture to cool completely to room temperature, then pour the filling into the pie crust.

6. Chill in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours, or until the filling is set and firm.

7. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top just before serving.

Notes

Blooming Gelatin: Do not skip the blooming step. Soaking the gelatin in cool liquid first ensures it dissolves smoothly without lumps.

Cooling: Make sure the liquid filling has cooled down before pouring it into the crust to prevent the crust from becoming soggy.

Storage: Keep this pie refrigerated until ready to serve. It will last up to 3 days in the fridge.
