Description

The best homemade Gluten Free Almond Flour Crackers! Incredibly crispy, savory, and easy to make with just 5 simple ingredients. This is the perfect recipe for a healthy, gluten-free, and delicious snack.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups almond flour

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme), optional

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, add the almond flour, egg, salt, olive oil, and optional dried herbs. Mix with a spatula or your hands until a thick, uniform dough forms.

3. Place the dough ball between two sheets of parchment paper.

4. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out as thinly as possible into an even layer.

5. Remove the top sheet of parchment. Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into small squares.

6. Slide the bottom parchment sheet with the scored dough onto your baking sheet.

7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crisp. Watch them closely after 10 minutes to prevent burning.

8. Let the crackers cool completely on the pan before breaking them apart. They will get crispier as they cool.

Notes

Get Them Crispy: The secret to super crispy crackers is to roll the dough as thinly as you possibly can.

Flavor Variations: Add 1/4 tsp of garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika to the dough for extra flavor.

Storage: Store cooled crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
