Description

The easiest Gluten-Free Air Fryer Bagels you’ll ever make! This recipe uses Greek yogurt for a soft, chewy texture without any yeast. Perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup gluten free all purpose flour

2 teaspoons gluten-free baking powder

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 egg white, whisked until frothy

Optional toppings: Everything Bagel Seasoning, Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds

Instructions

1. Mix the Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the Greek yogurt and frothy egg white. Mix until a crumbly dough forms.

2. Knead and Divide: Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface and knead gently into a smooth ball. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.

3. Shape the Bagels: Roll each piece into a 5-6 inch rope. Connect the ends to form a circle, pinching them firmly to seal.

4. Add Toppings: Brush the tops with melted butter or oil spray and sprinkle generously with your desired toppings.

5. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Spray the basket, place the bagels in a single layer, and cook for about 10 minutes, checking at the 8-minute mark, until golden brown.

6. Cool and Serve: Let the bagels cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. They will continue to set as they cool.

Notes

Storage: Store cooled bagels in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Freezing: Wrap cooled bagels individually in plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag for up to one month.

Sticky Dough: Don’t be afraid to use extra gluten-free flour on your work surface and hands if the dough is too sticky. It’s a normal consistency for this recipe.
